The National History Museum/Castillo de Chapultepec was another great museum with lots of history. While the Anthropology Museum focused on the pre-Spanish cultures and artifacts, the History Museum takes a more modern perspective.

Today I went to Mexico’s National Anthropology Museum. After lots of small talk with the various taxi cab drivers on what to see in Mexico City, this place came highly recommended. For about $5.00
admission, you can spend hours looking over Mexican artifacts and not finish going through the entire museum
